This BuildInvoice Privacy Notice explains how Debora T DiBiasie, doing business through AltaVida Capital, operates BuildInvoice and collects, uses, stores, processes and discloses information through the BuildInvoice application, website, mobile interfaces and related services.
This Notice supplements the AltaVida Capital Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Cookie Policy. If this Notice conflicts with the general AltaVida Capital Privacy Policy concerning information processed specifically through BuildInvoice, this Notice controls with respect to that information.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, BuildInvoice’s voice features are intended to convert Customer-provided speech into text or structured business records. They are not intended for covert recording, surveillance or biometric identification.

The Customer grants BuildInvoice a limited, nonexclusive permission to host, store, organize, reproduce, transmit, format, convert, back up and otherwise process Customer Data only as reasonably necessary to:

BuildInvoice may use deidentified or aggregated information to understand application performance, improve features, prevent abuse and evaluate general usage patterns, provided the information is not used to identify the Customer, the Customer’s client or another individual.
BuildInvoice may use rules, templates, automated calculations, transcription tools or artificial-intelligence-assisted systems to:
Automated outputs may contain errors, omissions or incorrect interpretations. Customers must review all invoices, estimates, proposals, change orders, translations, calculations and generated documents before sending, approving or relying on them.
BuildInvoice will not intentionally submit highly sensitive information to a general-purpose artificial-intelligence provider unless the processing is reasonably necessary, approved for that purpose, subject to appropriate protections and permitted by law.
Customer Data will not be used to train a general-purpose public artificial-intelligence model without clear notice to the Customer and any consent or other choice required by applicable law.
Depending on the features activated, BuildInvoice may use service providers for functions such as:
Service providers may process information as necessary to perform the services they provide to BuildInvoice, subject to applicable contractual, confidentiality, privacy, and security obligations.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for:
After account closure, Customer Data may be retained for a limited period and then deleted or deidentified, unless continued retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, transaction, or dispute purposes.
Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups or records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or dispute purposes.
A Customer may request access, correction, export or deletion of Customer Data by using available account controls or contacting BuildInvoice.
When a request concerns Client Data entered by a Customer, the affected individual should ordinarily direct the request to the Customer who controls the business relationship. BuildInvoice may assist the Customer in responding where technically feasible and legally required.
BuildInvoice may require identity and authority verification before processing a request.
BuildInvoice uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, and physical safeguards where applicable, designed to protect information based on its nature and sensitivity.

If a security incident affects information processed through BuildInvoice, we may take steps appropriate to the nature and scope of the incident, including investigating, containing and remediating the incident, preserving evidence, engaging appropriate service providers or professional advisors, and providing notices required by applicable law or contract.
Customers must promptly notify BuildInvoice of suspected unauthorized account access or misuse.
BuildInvoice may use cookies, local storage, authentication tokens, device identifiers and similar technologies for:

BuildInvoice is operated from the United States. Information may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where approved service providers operate.
Customers who use BuildInvoice outside the United States are responsible for determining whether their own collection and use of Client Data complies with applicable local law.
