Accessibility Statement

Effective date: July 31, 2026
Last updated: July 31, 2026

  1. Our commitment

Debora T DiBiasie, doing business through the applicable AVBrand, is committed to improving access to the websites, applications, educational resources, tools and digital services offered through AltaVidaSites for people with disabilities.

For purposes of this Accessibility Statement:

“we,” “us” and “our” refer to Debora T DiBiasie, doing business through the applicable AVBrand.

“AVBrand” refers to the applicable public-facing brand through which a Site or digital service is offered, including AltaVida Capital, AltaVida Unlimited and AltaVida Offices.

“AltaVidaSites” means:

  • altavidacapital.com;
    • altavidaunlimited.com; and
    • altavidaoffices.com.

AltaVidaSites also includes their subdomains, applications, portals, assessments, calculators, forms, reports, articles, downloads, videos, images and other digital resources operated through an AVBrand.

We seek to provide digital experiences that can be used by people with a range of disabilities, including people who experience:

  • blindness or low vision;
    • deafness or hearing loss;
    • limited mobility or dexterity;
    • speech disabilities;
    • cognitive or learning disabilities;
    • neurological or sensory disabilities; and
    • combinations of disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Technologies, content, user needs, legal requirements and accessibility standards may change over time.

  1. Accessibility standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as a technical reference for our ongoing accessibility efforts where reasonably applicable to AltaVidaSites, applications, documents and digital services.

WCAG provides testable criteria intended to make digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. WCAG conformance requires evaluation of complete pages and complete user processes, not merely isolated components.

We have not completed a comprehensive independent accessibility audit of every page, application, document and user process. Accordingly, we do not currently claim that every part of AltaVidaSites fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

If a qualified accessibility audit is completed, we may update this Statement to describe the assessed conformance status and scope more precisely.

  1. Scope of our accessibility efforts

Our accessibility efforts may include digital content and services that we operate or control, such as:

  • public website pages;
  • navigation menus;
  • headers and footers;
  • articles and blog content;
  • assessments;
  • calculators;
  • forms;
  • account and authentication pages;
  • downloadable reports;
  • PDF documents;
  • educational worksheets;
  • images and infographics;
  • videos and audio;
  • email resources;
  • customer-support interactions;
  • online applications;
  • portals;
  • mobile-responsive layouts; and
  • other digital services operated or controlled through an AVBrand.

Third-party platforms, embedded services, government websites, external documents and independently operated professional websites may have accessibility practices or limitations outside our direct control. We may seek reasonable alternatives or improvements when a third-party accessibility barrier is identified.

  1. Measures used to support accessibility

Our accessibility efforts may include, where reasonably practicable:

  • using meaningful page titles and logical heading structures;
    • providing text alternatives for meaningful images;
    • identifying decorative images appropriately;
    • using descriptive link and button text;
    • supporting keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus;
    • avoiding keyboard traps;
    • considering color contrast, readable typography and text spacing;
    • avoiding reliance on color alone to communicate essential meaning;
    • supporting browser zoom, text enlargement and responsive layouts;
    • labeling form fields and identifying required information;
    • providing understandable instructions, validation and error messages;
    • providing captions, transcripts or other alternatives where appropriate;
    • reducing unnecessary animation and avoiding unsafe flashing content;
    • using semantic structure and accessible names for controls where practical;
    • reviewing important documents, forms and user processes; and
    • considering accessibility when developing or materially updating digital content and services.

The accessibility measures appropriate for a particular page, document, application or service may vary according to its content, technology, purpose and available resources.

  1. Keyboard accessibility

We seek to make core functions of AltaVidaSites operable by keyboard where reasonably practicable, without requiring a mouse or touchscreen.

Keyboard-accessibility efforts may include:

  • moving through links and controls using the Tab key or other standard keyboard commands;
    • activating buttons and links;
    • navigating menus;
    • opening and closing dialogs;
    • completing forms;
    • operating assessments and calculators;
    • accessing instructions and error messages;
    • maintaining a logical focus order;
    • providing a visible indication of the element receiving keyboard focus;
    • preventing sticky headers, banners and dialogs from unnecessarily obscuring keyboard focus; and
    • providing a keyboard- or button-based alternative when a function otherwise requires dragging.

Users who encounter a core function that cannot be reached or operated by keyboard are encouraged to report the barrier through the contact methods below.

  1. Screen-reader and assistive-technology support

We seek to use content and coding practices that support commonly used assistive technologies where reasonably practicable, including:

  • screen readers;
    • screen magnification;
    • speech-recognition software;
    • alternative input devices;
    • browser accessibility controls; and
    • operating-system accessibility features.

Accessibility and compatibility may vary according to the:

  • browser;
    • operating system;
    • assistive-technology version;
    • device;
    • user settings;
    • third-party content or service; and
    • technical limitations of the applicable page or application.

We do not guarantee compatibility with every possible combination of browser, device, operating system and assistive technology. Users who encounter a compatibility barrier may contact us to report the issue or request a reasonably available alternative.

  1. Images, graphics, and infographics

AltaVidaSites may use photographs, icons, illustrations, charts, screenshots, diagrams and infographics.

Where reasonably practicable, we may seek to:

  • provide useful alternative text for meaningful images;
    • identify decorative images appropriately;
    • avoid unnecessarily repeating surrounding text in alternative text;
    • provide captions or nearby explanations when helpful;
    • avoid communicating essential information only through an image;
    • use legible text when text appears within an image;
    • provide text explanations for complex graphics; and
    • review AI-generated images for inaccurate text or potentially misleading visual elements.

Some images or complex graphics may not contain complete text equivalents. A user who cannot access information presented through an image may contact us to report the barrier or request a reasonably available text explanation.

  1. Forms, assessments, and calculators

Forms, assessments and calculators offered through AltaVidaSites may include multiple steps, conditional questions, dynamic results, charts and downloadable reports.

Where reasonably practicable, our accessibility efforts may include:

  • associating labels and instructions with form fields;
    • identifying required entries;
    • maintaining a logical keyboard and focus order;
    • providing visible focus indicators;
    • providing adequately sized and spaced controls;
    • explaining validation errors and associating them with affected fields;
    • allowing users to review or correct answers;
    • avoiding unnecessary time limits;
    • preserving previously entered information when an error occurs;
    • avoiding unnecessary requests to reenter information already provided during the same process;
    • providing accessible alternatives to dragging or other pointer-based actions;
    • using accessible names for buttons and controls;
    • providing results in understandable text;
    • avoiding results that depend solely on color;
    • supplementing charts with text explanations where practical;
    • providing support or help information consistently during multistep processes;
    • considering accessible authentication methods; and
    • supporting responsive mobile layouts.

Accessibility limitations do not change the educational nature of a form, assessment or calculator. Results remain subject to the applicable Legal Disclaimer and Terms of Use.

A user who cannot complete a form, assessment or calculator because of an accessibility barrier may contact us to report the barrier or request a reasonably available alternative method of receiving the educational information.

  1. Documents and PDFs

AltaVidaSites may provide generated reports, downloadable PDFs, worksheets, checklists, guides, forms, presentation materials and third-party documents.

Where reasonably practicable, our document-accessibility efforts may include:

  • using descriptive document titles;
    • establishing a logical reading order;
    • using headings and structural tags;
    • providing meaningful link text;
    • adding alternative text to meaningful images;
    • identifying table headers;
    • using readable contrast;
    • avoiding image-only documents; and
    • providing a reasonably available alternative format upon request.

When practical, important results or information may also be provided in an on-screen HTML or text format so that a downloadable PDF is not the only method of access.

Some generated reports, documents or PDFs may not satisfy every accessibility criterion. Users may contact us to report a barrier or request a reasonably available alternative format.

Government and third-party documents are controlled by their respective publishers. We may link to these documents for reference but cannot guarantee their accessibility.

  1. Video and audio

When video or audio content is published through AltaVidaSites, our accessibility efforts may include, where reasonably practicable:

  • synchronized captions;
    • transcripts;
    • audio descriptions when essential visual information is not otherwise communicated;
    • accessible media controls;
    • keyboard operation;
    • sufficient contrast;
    • avoidance of rapidly flashing imagery; and
    • clear identification of the content’s subject and purpose.

Automatically generated captions and transcripts may contain errors. We may review or correct material errors when they are identified and resources permit.

Embedded media platforms control their own players, interfaces and accessibility features. Users who encounter a barrier may contact us to report the issue or request a reasonably available alternative.

  1. Color, contrast, and visual presentation

Our accessibility efforts may include, where reasonably practicable:

  • providing readable text contrast;
    • using visible focus indicators;
    • considering contrast for essential interface components;
    • maintaining understandable layouts when content is enlarged or zoomed;
    • supporting text resizing without loss of core information or functionality;
    • avoiding reliance on color alone to communicate essential meaning;
    • using readable typography and spacing; and
    • providing understandable mobile presentation.

Brand colors, interface elements or visual treatments may be adjusted when reasonably necessary to improve readability or accessibility.

  1. Language and readability

Our accessibility and readability efforts may include, where reasonably practicable:

  • identifying the primary language of a page;
    • identifying changes in language within bilingual content;
    • clearly labeling language-selection controls;
    • providing corresponding instructions, labels and error information in the selected language when bilingual functionality is offered;
    • avoiding reliance on flags alone to identify a language;
    • defining technical terms and acronyms;
    • using descriptive headings;
    • dividing lengthy information into manageable sections;
    • using lists or tables when they improve understanding;
    • avoiding unnecessary jargon;
    • providing context for government and technical terminology; and
    • using plain-language explanations without removing material qualifications.

Financial, legal, insurance, tax, military and government-benefit subjects may be inherently complex. Simplified explanations do not replace official documents or advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

  1. Mobile accessibility

AltaVidaSites are intended to support commonly used mobile devices and screen sizes.

Mobile-accessibility efforts may include, where reasonably practicable:

  • responsive layouts;
    • readable text;
    • adequately sized and spaced controls;
    • logical content and focus order;
    • accessible mobile navigation;
    • support for device and external keyboards where applicable;
    • orientation flexibility unless a particular orientation is essential;
    • reduced unnecessary horizontal scrolling; and
    • forms designed for use on smaller screens.

Complex tables, charts, calculators, embedded services or other interactive content may require additional accessibility improvements. Users who encounter a mobile-accessibility barrier may contact us to report the issue.

  1. Third-party content and services

AltaVidaSites may use, display, embed or link to services operated by third parties, including hosting providers, website plugins, application platforms, databases, email providers, video platforms, scheduling services, payment processors, government websites, social-media services, maps, document viewers and communication tools.

Third-party providers control their own software, coding, interfaces, updates, accessibility features and support. We do not represent that every third-party service conforms to WCAG or applicable accessibility requirements.

When we become aware of a material third-party accessibility barrier, we may, where reasonably practicable:

  • contact the provider;
    • adjust available settings;
    • provide an alternative link or format;
    • provide equivalent information;
    • replace or remove the integration; or
    • offer another reasonable method of access.

Users who encounter a barrier involving third-party content or services are encouraged to report it through the contact methods below.

  1. Accessibility widgets and automated technology

We may use accessibility toolbars, automated scanners, monitoring services, browser controls or other technologies to help identify potential accessibility issues or provide supplemental user controls.

These technologies are supplemental. They do not:

  • establish complete accessibility or WCAG conformance;
    • identify or correct every coding or content barrier;
    • replace appropriate manual review;
    • replace testing with assistive technology;
    • guarantee compliance with applicable law; or
    • eliminate the need to address underlying accessibility barriers.

The presence or absence of an automated accessibility tool should not be interpreted as a certification of the accessibility or legal compliance of AltaVidaSites.

  1. Testing and evaluation

Accessibility review may involve automated and manual evaluation methods, depending on the content, technology, significance of the user process and available resources.

Evaluation methods may include:

  • automated scanning;
    • manual inspection;
    • keyboard-only review;
    • screen-reader review;
    • browser-zoom and text-resizing review;
    • mobile-device review;
    • color-contrast review;
    • form and document review;
    • review of important user processes; and
    • feedback received from users, including people with disabilities.

Automated tools cannot identify every accessibility barrier or independently determine complete WCAG conformance. Human evaluation may therefore be necessary to assess issues that automated tools cannot reliably detect.

We may prioritize identified issues based on their severity, effect on access, importance of the affected content or process, frequency of use, technical feasibility and available resources.

  1. Current limitations

Despite ongoing accessibility efforts, some content, documents, applications or third-party integrations may contain barriers that have not yet been identified or fully addressed.

We have not completed a comprehensive independent audit of all AltaVidaSites, applications, documents and user processes. Therefore, this Statement does not provide a complete inventory of existing accessibility limitations.

Users are encouraged to report accessibility barriers through the contact methods below. Reported issues may be evaluated and prioritized according to their severity, impact, technical feasibility and available resources.

  1. Alternative access

A person who cannot access information or complete a process because of an accessibility barrier may contact us to request reasonable assistance or a reasonably available alternative format.

Depending on the nature of the request and available resources, alternatives may include:

  • providing information by email;
    • supplying a text or larger-print version;
    • explaining a chart, image or infographic;
    • assisting with navigation;
    • providing a transcript;
    • supplying another document format;
    • arranging a telephone conversation;
    • identifying a more accessible official source; or
    • offering another reasonable method of accessing substantially similar educational information.

Alternative access is intended to supplement—not replace—our efforts to identify and address accessibility barriers in digital content and services. The availability and suitability of an alternative may depend on the content, technology, requested format, security considerations and available resources.

Accessibility assistance does not convert educational information into legal, tax, investment, benefits, insurance, healthcare, fiduciary or other professional representation. We are not responsible for government, legal, tax, insurance, healthcare, filing or other third-party deadlines.

Users should not delay a time-sensitive action while awaiting an accessibility response. When a deadline may apply, contact the responsible agency or an appropriately qualified professional directly.

  1. Reporting an accessibility barrier

We welcome good-faith reports concerning accessibility barriers involving AltaVidaSites or related digital services.

When possible, please include:

  • the page, document, application or feature involved;
    • the applicable web address or URL;
    • a description of the barrier encountered;
    • the browser and device used;
    • the assistive technology used, if relevant;
    • the requested alternative format or assistance;
    • the preferred method of contact; and
    • other non-sensitive information that may help us understand or reproduce the issue.

Do not submit account passwords, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, financial credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information in an accessibility report. We will not ordinarily require proof of a diagnosis or disability merely to receive a report or consider a request.

  1. Accessibility-request process

When we receive an accessibility report or request, we may, as appropriate:

  • review the information submitted;
    • request additional non-sensitive information when reasonably necessary;
    • evaluate the affected content, document or feature;
    • determine whether an alternative method of access is reasonably available;
    • address content or code where reasonably practicable;
    • contact a third-party provider when the barrier involves an external service; and
    • respond to the person who submitted the report when contact information was provided.

Response and remediation times may vary depending on the severity and complexity of the barrier, technical limitations, third-party involvement, security considerations, personnel availability and the scope of the requested correction or alternative.

We do not guarantee that every reported issue can be resolved or that a particular response or remediation time will apply unless required by applicable law or a separate written agreement.

  1. Accessibility contact information

Accessibility questions, barrier reports and requests for reasonably available alternative formats may be submitted to:

Operator: Debora T DiBiasie, doing business through the applicable AVBrand

Email: wealth@altavidacapital.com

Subject line: Accessibility Request

A person who requires telephone relay assistance may use their preferred telecommunications relay service to communicate through any telephone contact method that may be made available.

Contacting us regarding accessibility does not create a legal, tax, investment, benefits, insurance, healthcare, fiduciary or other professional relationship.

  1. Good-faith accessibility reports

We do not intend to retaliate against a person for submitting a good-faith accessibility request or reporting a suspected accessibility barrier.

This does not prevent us from taking appropriate action concerning:

  • abusive or threatening communications;
    • fraudulent or deceptive requests;
    • harassment;
    • security threats;
    • unlawful conduct;
    • misuse of AltaVidaSites; or
    • conduct that violates applicable Terms of Use.
  1. Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time project. Subject to technical feasibility and available resources, we may continue to review and improve digital content, templates, forms, applications, documents and important user processes.

We may also consider reported barriers, changes in technology, updates to accessibility guidance and changes involving third-party services when determining future accessibility priorities.

The existence of an unidentified or unresolved accessibility issue should not be interpreted as a representation that accessibility efforts have been abandoned.

  1. No warranty of complete accessibility

Although we seek to improve accessibility, we do not represent or warrant that:

  • every page, document or digital service is fully accessible;
    • every feature will operate with every assistive technology;
    • every third-party service or integration is accessible;
    • every document or PDF satisfies all accessibility standards;
    • every accessibility barrier will be identified;
    • every reported issue can be corrected immediately or completely; or
    • every requested alternative format or method of access can be provided.

This Statement describes current accessibility objectives and practices. It is not a certification of complete WCAG conformance or compliance with every potentially applicable accessibility requirement.

Nothing in this Statement limits any right or obligation that cannot lawfully be limited.

  1. Changes to this Accessibility Statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement to reflect:

  • completed audits;
  • accessibility improvements;
  • new AltaVidaSites, applications or digital services;
  • revised technical standards;
  • changes in service providers;
  • newly identified limitations;
  • changes in law;
  • updated contact methods; or
  • changes in accessibility procedures.
